Thompson 1928 Submachine Gun Drum magazine metal and wood, AKA Dillinger Gun, Tommy gun, Chicago Typewriter, Street Sweeper, The Heat, Heater and Al Capone gun. This is a classic replica of the submachine gun made famous by prohibition gangsters. This functional non-firing replica has now been reproduced again per your request. Our Commercial Model features a 50 round Metal removable drum with Wood pistol fore grip, just like Capone's soldiers would have used. This magazine model was sometimes called the Thompson drum. The Wood Stock and fore grips are not detachable. The bolt cocks and releases with a pull of the trigger. The military version of this model (SKU 22-1093) was later made famous by troops of the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions in World War II. This is the most recognizable firearm in U.S. History. It is Nonfiring. It cannot fire nor be converted to fire blanks or live ammo. A museum quality replica also great for Collectors, Theatrical productions and for Reenactments. Full Metal and Wood. This Thompson drum comes fully assembled in same weight and size as the original. Length: 34" Weight: 9.75 lbs. You can Purchase Extra Detachable Magazines below.
