The 1842 Model U.S. Percussion Musket, notable for being a .69 caliber musket, was the first weapon made at both the Harpers Ferry and Springfield Armories, with completely interchangeable parts. More than a quarter of a million of the muskets were manufactured from 1844 to 1855; Harpers Ferry Armory produced 103,000 and Springfield Armory produced 172,000 of the 1842 Model. Our reproductions are true to original measurements. Made By Chiappa Arms, NSSA approved. Model is Smoothbore. Features: 150th Civil War Anniversary Edition, .69 caliber, white finish with walnut stockgrip, smoothbore twistgrooves. 42” round barrel, 58” overall length, Weight 10.6 lbs. These Firing Reproduction Weapons actually fire a Lead Ball using Black
Powder and a Percussion cap exactly like the Original Weapons they Replicate. You must be 18 or older to order one. No license is required.
