Uberti® 1858 New Army .44 Case Hardened Frame. Features: .44 Caliber, Case hardened with steel backstrap and brass trigger guard. Six-shot. Manufactured with forged frame. Barrel Length: 5-1/2” Overall Length: 11.1” Weight: 2.5lbs. These Firing Reproduction Weapons actually fire a Lead Ball using Black Powder and a Percussion cap exactly like the Original Weapons they Replicate. You must be 18 or older to order one. No license is required.

We now have a Conversion Cylinder available for this Model. A Cylinder Change Converts Cap and Ball Revolvers from Percussion to Cartridge Now, you can switch back and forth from black powder to centerfire by changing the cylinder. The cylinder and plate fit together without screws or threads so reloading is simple: pull the cylinder pin, drop the cylinder, and lift off the plate with your fingers. Only certified, 4150 arsenal-grade steel is used in the production of these cylinders and top-plates, to offer superior quality and strength and ensure safety and durability. Use only cowboy ammunition that does not exceed 850 FPS; never use hot or jacketed ammunition. Cowboy ammunition is produced by most manufacturers and is available at many of your larger Sporting goods Stores. The “cowboy” ammunition is great for targets and any hunting you think you can hit with a Pistol. The Conversion Cylinder must be shipped separately.
